I love Sundays

It's a lovely day. I was laying in the sun, enjoying my new toy and Eartha decides to lick my ears. Parasites can be beneficial.

A Trip to Petsmart

I'm so excited! Roadtrip to Petsmart. There's so much to smell and other dogs to see. I hop into Mom's lap and off we go.

So I start checking out new collars and some guy comes up and says we can't take pictures. Grrrr. I wanted to share my advetures but they wouldn't let me. Oh, well. I did get a new toy and Mom bought some things for the cats. Why do they get stuff? They didn't even come with us. They don't even care. Worthless kitties. They're not even any good as chew toys. Why does Mom like them so much?

I'm resting a lot easier now that Bert is home. No more looking under porches, into bushes, trips to animal shelters. Bert went to the vet and had a fever but is healthy. So is the pillow Boston Terrier Kitties? That's kinda creepy to think about. My cousin the cat?

The Prodigal Son

After 4 or 5 days of "catting" around my brother, Bert, has returned home. He headed straight for the food. He appears no worse for his experience. Mom will be in a good mood again. All is right in the universe.

We went to the Humane Society looking for Bert. Mom went inside while Dad took me to the dog park they have there. These two wanted a piece of me. Lucky for them Dad had me on a leash. Then we went to the section for small dogs. There was an old lady in there with a Bichon named "Fluffy". Jeez. Let me run with the big dogs!

Bert Update

We're still looking for my brother. So far no good. Hitting the animal shelters. Thanks to all for the kind words. Bert is a good kitty.

Deep Thoughts by Buster

"Why does the crow call my name?" thought Caw, the indian boy.

We went out looking for Bert. I got to wear my new coat! I think it looks like a fireman's jacket. Pretty spiffy. All I need now is a helmet.

I luv my Cuz.

Damn, I'm good lookin'.

Update on Bert. No word. At least we didn't find him run over in the road. We'll keep looking. It won't be the same without him.

Oh, no! My brother Bert is missing. I hope he finds his way home.

This is another picture from this summer. My dad is sitting there having thoughts about the meaning of life and where he fits into the universe. I smell dead crabs, dead seagulls, dead fish. Why do humans try to complicate things? Carpe Carcass.

Mom got me some new toys today. I really liked this colored plush bone. Is all that fluffy stuff supposed to come out of it?

Knowing that Cindy and her co-workers in San Francisco read my blog is better than a belly rub! Hello to everyone in San Francisco!

Deep Thoughts by Buster

You can't know light
without seeing the dark.
You can't know happiness
without having felt sorrow.
You can't know riches
without ever being poor.
You can't know love
without feeling hate.
That's why God made Cats
so Man could know Dogs.
After playtime I needed a nap. I can't wait to go to bed!

Tonight, Wally and I played. Well, I played. Wally tried to ignore me. He likes tug-o-war but not bitey face. Silly kitty.

Who are you anyway?

I thought I'd show you a picture of the cockroaches, er, cats that I put up with. This is the only known picture of all of them in a family shot. Front to back, Wally, Bebe, Grey Kitty, Eartha and Bert. All they do is sleep and make fur. It's a 24-hour a day job and they're very good at it.

So I'm playing with my stuffed bunny and blah. It fell apart. I don't know how that happened. I'm guessing the cats did something to it. My poor bunny. Mom felt bad and bought about five new stuffed toys. My mom is good to me. I wonder if I can get stuffing to come out of the cats. Hmmm....

My first run in with The Man. I think I scared him. What's with the haircut?

It's Sunday morning. My day to relax. My Dad gets up early, feeds the cats and makes coffee. Me and Mom sleep in. I let my Mom and Dad sleep with me because I have the biggest bed and they cry all night if I put them in their crate. They keep me warm, too. It's starting to get cold in Ohio and I've never seen a winter before. I don't think I'm going to like it.

Dad and I enjoy a sunset at Lake Michigan.

Here's me with my good friend Wally. Wally is very proud of his ear hair. I don't get it.

Wally is the only cat in the house that will play with me. We play tug-o-war with a rope. Wally hooks it with his claws and I drag him around. Oh what fun! Too bad Wally's a cat but it's not his fault. I don't hold it against him. We can't all be perfect.

Last summer we went to stay with some friends on Lake Michigan. What a blast! Sand, rocks and sticks everywhere. The bad part was the lake was full of water. I don't like getting my feet wet. Ugh.

Life is Good.

This is my baby picture. My Dad and big sister had just brought me to my new home. I don't remember much but they say I behaved. Don't I look silly with floopy ears! Glad those straightened out. My Mom has five katz who I had to be introduced to. I think they thought I smelled funny and left me only. Lucky for them. I may be small but I'm scrappy. Grrr!

Here's me with my dad. Mom says he's good looking but I think his nose is too big and his ears are kinda funny looking. You can tell he's watching TV because of the blank look. He should be playing with me. Lazy human.
