Hurricaine Ike came through the other day. It's not often we get hurricaines in Ohio. This is my backyard.
My mom and dad walked through the neighborhood after the blow. That's my dad. This was a typical yard.

Mommy took me to Kentucky the other day. Her friend's dad had passed and Mom went to the service. Afterwards her friend Cindy took for walk. This is us chasing Canadian geese.

Lockdown

I got my bandage off a couple of weeks ago but I'm still recovering. It looks like my leg has a zipper. I can go on short walks but I was jumping on and off the couch while my mom made dinner so I was put into my pen for safety. I'm getting better. Another month to go.

Luxating Patella

Hey everone! I was having a good summer until I blew out my knee cap. Actually, I have floating knee caps and one of them popped out. I was gimping around and not getting any better. So...I had patellar fixation and grooving.

This is what I look like now. Luckily, I don't need a cast and the bandage comes off after 5 days. The bad news is I can't run around for 8 weeks. My mom and dad have to carry me everywhere. I could get used to that! Big Sissy is coming over next week to help puppysit me because my dad is going out of town. That will be fun. She's nice to me.

Spring Time

Mommy took me out to play in the pretty yellow flowers.

There were a LOT of flowers. The next day they all turned white and blew away.

Bike Trail Hike

I got to take my mom and dad on a walk this weekend. The bike trail is fun! Lots of other dogs taking their humans for a walk.

I would make a great hunting dog. Here's me on point.

Merry Christmas!

Woohoo!! I had a great Christmas. My big sisters got me more toys to chew on. My mommy got a fancy new DSLR camera so she can take more pictures of me. This is the first picture she took yesterday morning. The string in my mouth is what I use to troll for kitties. I run around the room with it and the cats try to catch it. Once I hook a cat I run around in circles and hog tie them. What fun!

Lunch Time Break

Dad took to me see my mom at lunch. She had to work today. Mommy is a chef. All my dad's friends think he has gourmet meals every night but when mommy gets home she doesn't want to cook. Poor Daddy. All he gets is fried cheese sandwichs and tomato soup.

I've been lazy

Okay, I haven't been lazy. My dad has been. But I've been taking the time to rest up with my mom. She's a pillow hog.

My big sissy got me a Kitty Cuz. How cool is that? I've never seen one. I love chewing on kitty.

My Favorite Squirrel

Is this my squirrel? Is it Son of Squirrel? Dunno. It was in the yard tonite. I'm glad the white squirrel lives on. Winter is over.

Bar-B-Q Gone Bad?

We had some excitement last night. A big explosion and lots and lots of sirens. My dad took me out to investigate.

This is what we saw. Something's burning behind the church.

We got to climb a fence and cross a field to get here. Couldn't see what was burning but it was exciting! Lots of people were looking so I got to say 'hi' to everyone.

On the walk back home there was still a cloud of smoke over our neighborhood. It was pretty cool. I hope nobody was hurt in the fire but it was exciting to see all the firetrucks.

Spring has Sprung

It's sunny and warm in Ohio. Birds are chirping and flowers are sprouting. Mom and Dad have no excuse for not taking me on long walks. They've gotten fat and lazy over the winter so I feel it's my duty to get them back in shape. I'm such a good puppy.

Chihuahua's are lightweights

My dad's friends have a Chihuahua (a salty snack if you ask me) who had a toy that was "too big". They gave it to me since their dog, Pancho, didn't want it. This took about ten minutes.

Happy Valentine's Day

I hope every has a great valentine's day. Too bad I can't eat chocolate.

We got a lot of snow, sleet and freezing rain yesterday. Brrr! My dad needs to make me a shelter outside so I can poop in comfort.

I had to make a few changes to my blog. I was forced to shift to the 'new' blog by google. Seems to be slower. I also put in word verification for comments. I was getting some inappropriate posts. Probably some cats. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Westminster Dog Show

I watched the dog show last night. I should be in it. Why are Boston's in a group called "Non-Sporting"? I'm very sporty. And to add insult to injury a poodle beat the Boston for best in group. A poodle?!?! That ain't right. Where's the remote?

Cold dark days

I've been spending a lot of time indoors since it's so cold outside. For fun my mom got me soft toy to tear apart. My dad timed me to see how long it took me to rip out it's heart (squeaker). It was about four hours. Poor little dinosaur.

Master Buster

Okay, my dad has too much free time.

SNOW!

I finally got to see what snow is. Mom and Dad made me put on my coat before I could go out. Mom ran around so I could chase her.
This stuff is great fun but it's hard to find grass to poop on.
I hope it snows some more.

My dad got some new software that he's been having fun playing with. His first effort is a little weak but I'm sure he'll get better with it. Use the force, Buster!

Rain. Rain and more Rain

It's been raining all weekend here in Ohio. Before the rain got here my mom took me down to the bike path for a long walk. I really like the path because it's always changing even from week to week. The leaves, the flowers, the river and lots of other dogs to sniff.


Here's the spillway where lots of junk gets stuck. Sometimes people! I don't like water so I've never been in. I don't even like going out in the rain.


Since the rain started I've been stuck inside. Luckily, mom and dad are willing to play with me. I try playing with the cats but they just spit and hiss. Mom said we could get another Boston once the cat population decreases. Hmmm...I wonder. I went to the pet store a few days ago and the guy working there said he had five Bostons. Five! At what point does one need therapy?
